Nursery Art

 

This is my nursery art series of baby animal paintings, inspired by my young daughter's love of animals.

I painted these in an 'alla prima' style also known as 'wet on wet', which I find is a great way of loosening up after painting large detailed paintings. So they're less about fine detail and more about bold brushstrokes. I really enjoyed painting this little series and may well add to it.
